Article 6: Training Preparation
Webinars will be scheduled every other week to provide basic training. In addition, other resources are available such as recorded training sessions, "How To" documentation, "How To" Videos, and the Training Site. Please review the other manuals in the help for more details. To prepare your station for this migration, you should send an email out letting them know about the new StoryLine CMS tool. An example is attached. Please submit your user list if you would like everyone to practice using the StoryLine tool using KUTV as the training site.

Within the next few weeks our new website will be launched. With the new site will come new expectations and functionalities for you. Here are the instructions to get you ready for launch and some highlights of the changes that will take place.
Basic Changes to Your Workflow
Previous Responsibilities: Write story and send to webteam via email
New Responsibilities: Write story, headline, and attach image all in the new CMS called Storyline. Send email to webteam that your story is ready for publish. Webteam will double check your work and post live to the website. Web team will also attach video news clip after it airs to the story.

- Once you are given your access to Storyline, please reach out to (assign someone from each station that should be a “power user” in advance of roll out to assist) if you need any help.
Best Practices
In about 2-3 weeks of using the new CMS, we will conduct a wrap up training that will include Q&A, Best Practices, and benchmarks.
