Article 7: FTP Setup
We need a list of your engineers that will need access to FTP. We need to know which FTP client you’re currently using, such as FileZilla or Cyberduck. Please send this information to Darren Basler at [email protected]. If you don’t have a current client, you’ll need to download one prior to transferring images and files. If you have a proprietary client that you’re using, you will need to coordinate its configuration—unfortunately, we cannot do that. You can use FileZilla or Cyberduck as a test FTP while you’re trying to isolate your proprietary client.
The quicker you test your client, the quicker we can resolve any issues before your launch.
Once we’re in receipt of your engineer list and FTP client, we’ll send login credentials to your engineers.
The server name that you’ll be connecting to is: ftp.sinclairstoryline.com.
Your user name will be your call letters.
They will then be able to create the Maps folder, and Closings and Elections if they’re missing. Images will go in the Maps folder, while HTML files should go into Closings and Elections.
The images will show up within 30 seconds on the Sinclair StoryLine site, while the HTML sites have to be communicated to Dan Kelley so that we know to put in an iFrame.
