Article 2: Filtering

Step 1: Click on the "Stories" tab of StoryLine.

NOTE: From this screen, users can sort, filter, and search for created packages. By default this screen will show stories, alerts, and notifications.

Step 2: Click the "stories" filter option.

NOTE: By clicking the "stories only" filter the user is shown stories, no alerts or notifications are displayed.

Step 3: Click the "alerts" filter option.

NOTE: By clicking the "alerts only" filter the user is shown alerts, no stories or notifications are displayed.

Step 4: Click the "notifications" filter option

NOTE: By clicking the "notifications" filter the user is shown notifications, no stories or alerts are displayed.

Step 5: Click the "all types" filter option.

NOTE: By clicking the "all types" filter the user is shown stories, alerts, and notifications.

Step 6: Click the "my properties" to filter search results for all properties that the user has permission to edit.

Step 7: Click the "all properties" option to filter search results for all properties within StoryLine.

NOTE: User will have read only access to content that they don't have permissions to edit.

Step 8: A new filter is now available, allowing you to toggle between "All Content" and "My Content" for a more personalized browsing experience.

By leveraging the link-to-author feature, we’ve introduced a "My Content" filter that personalizes your experience by displaying all stories where you’ve been added in the contributor field.

There is an additional properties drop down for folks with access to multiple properties you can narrow the criteria by selecting a single property.
