Article 2: Scheduling an alert
Step 1: Navigate to an existing Alert or create a new alert.
Step 2: In the right panel of the Alert Authoring screen, click the "Starts" date field, and select the desired Start date.
NOTE: A valid Headline & Target must to be filled out prior to scheduling.
NOTE: The date in scheduling calendar will default to current date.
NOTE: Choosing the date will allow the time to be entered.
Step 3: In the "Starts" time field, choose a desired time to publish this alert.
NOTE: Alert scheduling is based on the target station's time.
Step 5: To set an alert to expire, users must explicitly set the "Expires" toggle to "ON."
NOTE: The date in scheduling calendar will default to current date.
NOTE: If no expiration is set you will need to manually unpublish the alert.

Step 6: From the dropdown menus below, enter an "Expires" date & time.
NOTE: Once the expiration is set, the alert will be automatically removed from the website at the selected date and time.
