Step 1: Inside the package authoring screen, click the "media" tab.

NOTE: Users can switch back and forth between these tabs freely. Just don't forget to save.

Step 2: To upload media from your computer, select the "upload media" button.

NOTE: If you don't see "upload media" and "browse library" buttons, check to make sure the story is targeted. The story must be targeted before media assets can be added.

NOTE: A direct upload attaches a copy of the media asset to the story package. The original asset is located in StoryLine Media Library and is covered in further help guides.

Step 3: The other method of attaching media to a story is by browsing StoryLine's library. Select the "browse library" button.

Step 4: A browse window slides out to display all media assets within the Media Library.

NOTE: More on searching and filtering in a future help guide

Step 5: To attach media library asset to the story, select the image and note the green checkbox in the thumbnail. To add selected media to the story package, click "attach selected" and you will be taken back to the media tab in the story.

NOTE: When media is selected it will appear in the 'Items Selected' tray at the bottom of the screen.

Step 6: Return to story

NOTE: Since assets in the media library have already been previously uploaded, you don't have to wait again.
