When the Main feed Override Capture mode is toggled on, the feed will serve up the realtime stream (45 seconds behind your over-the-air signal) instead of the "Near-Live" stream which is buffered, and normally used for the newscast streams.

This is important for Breaking News coverage, such as severe weather or other time-sensitive live news streams. The "OVERRIDE" should be enabled anytime there is time-sensitive live streams. EVEN IF your live stream is on, it will be buffered on mobile devices thus causing a delay in live viewing.

Once your breaking news event is completed, you must click toggle Override Capture OFF manually. If left on, the feed will continue to capture and broadcast to your site. It will also override any normal, scheduled programming.
