Premium Content - How To Publish

With the introduction of subscription-based content, we have developed a workflow that allows content to be marked as Premium putting it behind a paywall. In order to access this content, our viewers will need to register and subscribe. Once subscribed, they will have access to all of the station’s Premium content.

Step 1: Create Story

NOTE: For more information on Story production basics, click here.

Step 2: With story created, select 'Tags' on the right rail.

Step 3: In the text box, type in 'Premium' and hit the space bar, allow a few seconds and click on the 'Premium : Entitlement' option. Click 'Done' to save the tag.

Step 4: Publish story package.

Step 5: Visit story on the website and note 'Premium' flag on the story package.

NOTE: If story was Promoted to Lead stories, homepage teaser on the Top Stories stack will have the 'Premium' flag.

If viewer is not logged in and subscribed and they attempt to access the Premium content, they will be prompted to subscribe.
