Article 6: Persisted Search Results
This article will cover how search results are kept intact when users view a specific search result. Users no longer lose their search results when going back to the search results screen.
Step 1: Execute Search
Perform a search with desired search criteria.
Step 2: View Search Result
Click to view a search result.
View search result. If user wants to return to the search results, click on the browser back button.
Step 3: Search Results are Intact
Upon returning to the search results, the previous search results are intact. There is no need to perform the same search again.
NOTE: If users make changes to the story or media item in Step 3, they will be taken to back to the main Story or Media screen. The search results will no longer be intact.
