After a story has been published and syndicated, you can go back to the syndication screen and check the syndication status for all targets.

You can hover over each syndication target to find two pieces of information:

1. Syndication Status - Provides syndication status for the specific target.
   • Syndicated - Story has been syndicated to the target.
   • Error - There was an error syndicating to the target. Specific error message will be provided in the hover text box.
   • Queued - Story is waiting for syndication to the target.
   • Staged For Syndication - This is shown when a target is selected for syndication, but the publish and syndication process hasn't been started.
2. Syndicated Section URL - Provides the URL for the location of the syndicated story for the specific target.
   • For stories that have not been staged for syndication or syndicated, only the Syndicated Section URL is shown. The Syndication Status will not be shown.

NOTE: Errors when syndicating typically occur when the target is an invalid section for syndication. This could happen when a section doesn't have a teaser list or certain sections (like /weather and /live) are no valid, even though they can be selected as targets. Update the targets and syndicate again.

In the event of an error that's not related to an invalid section, attempt to fix the error described in the error message and try to syndicate again.

The syndication statuses will be updated each time you enter the screen. However, if you want refresh the screen without leaving, you can use the syndication refresh button to refresh all the statuses.
