Article 13: How to Geographically restrict video content
Step 1: Create a new story, or open an existing story
Don't forget to enter a title, copy (if necessary), and most important, set the TARGET to "More to Watch" section. It's important to do this prior to uploading video in the next step.
Step 2: Go to the media tab, and upload the video file, or use browse library to attach a previously uploaded video.
Step 3: Click the Geo-Restrictions link
Step 3: Select the Region(s) that you want to restrict the content to.
- All regions are initially unchecked meaning that any region can view this video.
Step 4: Click 'Done' to save the restrictions.
Step 5: Publish.
AUDIENCE View
On the More to Watch page, the newly published video will go to the first position on the left under "What's New". A Producer can go to the teaser list and manipulate teaser placements like any teaser list.
If the viewer is located in a region where the video is restricted from, they will see this message after the pre-roll advertising.
