Article 2: Creating a story that is photo gallery enabled
Step 1: Start by clicking "New Story" shortcut on the Home page. Alternatively, click on the "+ new story" button on the Stories page.
Step 2: Enter a Headline, Dateline, and choose the appropriate target for this gallery.
This will display the package as a story by default, not as a gallery.
Leave the story copy blank to default this package as a gallery.
Step 4: Switch over to the media tab of the story package.
Step 5: Direct upload at least three images to the package by clicking the "+ add media" button. Alternatively, attach at least three images by clicking the "browse library" button.
Step 6: Once the third image is attached to the package the "Photo Gallery Enabled" toggle displays and is turned 'ON' by default.
This toggle determines if this story package can be displayed as a gallery. When this story is selected on the website the story presentation will be displayed since it has copy in it. However, since this toggle is automatically turned 'ON', this package will display in the "related galleries" or "more galleries" teaser lists throughout the site. This allows users who only likes to view photos to find relatable content in the format they enjoy.
Step 7: Turn the "Photo Gallery Enabled" toggle 'OFF' by simply clicking on it.
This toggle is automatically turned 'ON'. If explicitly turned 'OFF' then this package will always display as a story. This package will not display in any "related galleries" or "more galleries" teaser lists at all.
