Article 8: Manage Seasons on a Show Package
This article shows you how to do the following:
- Add, delete or update a season to a show package
- Add, delete episodes to/from a season
By default, seasons are turned off and episodes are added directly to the show. Seasons are not required.
A top-down drill down from shows to episodes looks like the following:
show --> season(s) --> group(s) --> episode(s)
Alternatively, the drill down can look like:
show --> season(s) --> episode(s)
For more information on using groups, either within seasons or without seasons, please see Article 9: Manage Groups on a Show Package.
Note: Episodes cannot be moved from one season to another. Instead, the video must be removed from the one season and then added to the other season.
Step 1: Add a season to a show by clicking the "Seasons are" toggle to flip it "ON".
Step 2: Name the season and click "done".
Step 3: To add multiple seasons, click the "add season" button, and enter the name.
Step 4: Here add a name for the second season and click "done".
Step 5: Now there are two seasons.
By default, all of the episodes assigned to the show so far went into the first season created.
Step 6: To look at the 2016 season, click "2016"; it's empty.
You could populate 2016 by clicking "update videos" or "browse videos" but you want to delete season 2016.
Step 7: To delete season 2016, click the "cog", and you go to Season Settings.
Note: If there is only one season to delete, you must remove it by clicking the "Seasons are" toggle, on the SHOW page, and turning it to "OFF".
Step 8: Click the "delete" button next to season 2016.

Step 9: You can add episodes to a show. Click the "browse videos" button
Step 10: In the Media Library, select by clicking the upper right corner and click "attach selected".
Step 11: In the show you see there are new episodes.
Step 12: Select some of the episodes to delete by clicking the "check box" next to the episode, and clicking the "delete selected" button.
Step 13 You now have a new season lineup with just the episodes you want.
